Travel With Confidence
Your trip may take you far from home. Your travel advisor doesn't disappear when you leave.
At Summer's Vacation Club, our job doesn't end when your vacation is booked.
We help you prepare before you leave, remain available when you're traveling, and follow up after you return. Whether you have a simple question or something isn't going according to plan, you should know who to contact and where to find the information you need.
Before You Travel
We help you leave prepared.
As your departure approaches, we'll help organize the important details of your trip so you're not searching through emails and confirmation numbers at the last minute.
Depending on your itinerary, we may help organize or provide:
- Travel itinerary and confirmations
- Important payment and booking deadlines
- Travel protection information and policy documents
- Passport, visa, and destination entry resources
- Airline and flight information
- Airport and transfer details
- Hotel and resort information
- Tours, excursions, and activities
- Destination-specific information and recommendations
- Relevant supplier and emergency contact information
- Final reminders before departure
For international travel, SVC may help travelers identify authoritative resources for passport, visa, and destination entry requirements.
Travelers remain responsible for ensuring they possess the identification, passports, visas, authorizations, and other documentation required for their trip.
Your Travel Information in One Place
Your JourneyFuse itinerary can serve as your personal travel information center.
Whenever appropriate, SVC organizes important trip information so clients can access it while traveling. Depending on the trip, this may include:
Flights
Airline information, confirmation details, and airline support resources.
Hotels & Resorts
Property information, address, telephone number, and reservation details.
Transfers
Pickup instructions and contact information for the transportation provider.
Tours & Activities
Meeting locations, confirmation details, and operator information.
Travel Protection
Applicable protection plan information, policy documents, assistance contacts, and claims resources.
Important Travel Contacts
Relevant supplier and destination resources for the specific trip.
Every itinerary is different, so your travel information is customized to your actual trip — not every resource above applies to every booking.
While You're Traveling
If something doesn't look right, contact us.
Questions don't have to become problems. If you're unsure about something or an arrangement isn't going according to plan, contact your SVC advisor using the contact information included with your travel documents. Examples may include:
- Flight cancellations or significant schedule changes
- Missed connections
- Transfer or transportation problems
- Hotel or resort reservation issues
- Problems with a booked tour or excursion
- Questions about the itinerary
- Unexpected changes to travel plans
- Finding the appropriate supplier or insurance contact
- Questions concerning travel arrangements SVC helped coordinate
We'll help determine the appropriate next step and, when appropriate, assist in communicating with or advocating with the applicable travel provider. Sometimes the fastest solution will be directly through the airline, hotel, tour operator, cruise line, travel protection provider, transfer provider, or another supplier — when applicable, we provide relevant supplier contact information with your travel information.
Direct Traveler Communication
Need help while traveling? Message your SVC advisor.
Booked travelers receive direct advisor contact information as part of their travel documentation. While you're traveling, you'll have direct contact information for your SVC advisor included with your travel documents — so you always know exactly how to reach us.
If something doesn't look right with your flight, hotel, transfer, tour, or other travel arrangements, send us a message. Include your location, confirmation information, and a screenshot or photo when helpful.
Emergencies While Traveling
SVC is an additional source of travel support, but does not replace local emergency services, medical professionals, airlines, travel protection emergency-assistance providers, government authorities, or other organizations equipped to provide immediate emergency assistance.
For an immediate medical, safety, security, or life-threatening emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service first.
Travelers with applicable travel protection may also have access to emergency-assistance services through their provider. Once immediate assistance has been contacted, you're welcome to let us know so we can help with any affected travel arrangements.
Travel Protection
Unexpected circumstances can affect travel before or during a trip. Summer's Vacation Club includes travel protection as an important part of the travel planning process.
When applicable, SVC will make relevant travel protection information available with your travel documentation. This may include:
- Provider
- Plan / policy information
- Policy documents
- Emergency assistance contact
- Claims information / link
- Other relevant provider resources
If you need to use your coverage, we can help locate the applicable information and identify where the claims or assistance process begins.
Coverage, eligibility, benefits, exclusions, claim decisions, and payments are determined by the travel protection provider according to the terms of the applicable plan.
When You Return
Our service doesn't end at baggage claim.
After travel, we follow up to hear how the trip went. We want to understand:
- What you loved
- What you would change
- Hotels & resorts you particularly liked or disliked
- Preferred room / property characteristics
- Activities you enjoyed
- Preferred travel pace
- Destinations you may want to revisit
- Anything that still requires follow-up
When appropriate, we can help identify the correct supplier, travel protection provider, or other party for unresolved travel matters and assist with reasonable follow-up. The more we work together, the better we get to know how you like to travel — so future planning starts from what we already know, not from scratch.
The goal isn't to start over every time you travel. It's to get to know how you like to travel.
Before. During. After.
Before
We help you plan, organize, prepare, and know what to expect.
During
You have direct advisor contact information and know where to find the supplier resources relevant to your trip.
After
We follow up, assist with unresolved travel matters when appropriate, and use what we learn to improve future travel planning.
Travel planning made personal.
